Apply direct
- If you are applying for a part time course, you will register your application directly with us by clicking the Apply button on the course, unless otherwise specified
- If you wish to apply for a full-time course and we are a sole provider of your choice you can apply directly through our course pages

- On your application form let us know about any specific support needs you may have.
- We will then send you an email to confirm that we have received your application.
Apply at UCAS
- To make more than one application for a full time HE course, please apply via a UCAS route (with the exception of FdEd Children’s Development & Learning course)
- UCAS are currently accepting applications, with initial deadline of 14 January 2026 (Equal consideration date for applications) but you can still apply after this date.
- An application fee is £28.95 for up to five choices for 2026 entry

- Your application will be reviewed and if you have specific support needs, we will send you a form to complete in more detail so we can provide support tailored to your needs.
- If necessary, you will receive a call from our support team to ensure we can provide the support you need at college.
- If a course requires an interview and/or assessment, you will be sent an interview booking link
- If a conditional offer is made, subject to the achievement of certain grades, Activate Learning strictly adheres to UCAS regulations and final confirmation of a place will be on or shortly after results day in August
- If you meet entry requirements on the course you have chosen, you will receive an unconditional offer from us by email
- Your offer does not guarantee a place on the course until entry requirements are met
Not sure how to pay for your HE course, there are a number of options for you:
- an undergraduate student loan – find out what type of funding is available to you, and what you need to know about student finance before you apply here
- self-funding – you can set up a direct debit or pay by bank transfer
- employer sponsorship – a purchase order / letter from an employer confirming that they wish to pay for your course, and we will send them an invoice
- We will be in touch with you to let you know about all the exciting things happening at college and to support you in becoming an Activate Learning student in September.

- Completing your enrolment is the final step to becoming a student.
- Towards the end of August, you will receive an email that will contain a link to your online enrolment form. You will need to click ‘enrol me’ and complete your enrolment as soon as possible to guarantee your place.
- Only once we have received all information required for you enrolment (Results/grades, identification, any visa requirements, photo for your student ID card), will we be able to process the enrolment.
- We will confirm your enrolment by email, and it is only then your place is confirmed.
- You will also receive your first-day arrangements so you know where to go and at what time.
- You’ll be invited in to Connect to College week, which will consist of a schedule of activity designed to give you the best possible start.
- Connect to College week is vital preparation for the beginning of the term. It is essential that you attend on the days specified by your faculty as it will ensure that you feel safe, confident and supported in college.
- Your will be given your Student ID and Lanyard during this week.
